LMAG Chapter 17

Hello there. Izzy here.

A new name appears: セルリス. For now, I translated it as Serilis. If you have any better ideas, please comment it.

Oh and fyi: Gran’s name in JP is Goran. It’s not actually Gran, as you can see, but Gran sounds better than Golan or Gollan imo. I tried googling and it seems that ゴラン also stands for Gaurin, and I do not know French. So unless a グラン or something appears, I will keep it as Gran.

LMAG Chapter 14

Hello there. Izzy here.

This is getting problematic. I realised that you can’t really tell who is speaking in English orz. I added the person speaking to the back of some sentences (not all because im lazy) where it’s more difficult to tell who it is in English.

Anyway thanks to caudyr again for pointing out that the sentence I couldn’t understand was referring to them coming back and not on that very moment. Tunnel vision is not nice.

LMAG Chapter 13

Hello there. Izzy here.

I’ve actually finished translating chapter 13. Well, mostly. There’s one sentence that I can’t seem to understand. The crux of the problem is just a single word: 合流. I searched dictionaries and it’s either a junction of a road or joining up.

For those who understand Japanese, here’s the sentence:

戦利品を回収するよりも合流を優先したいと考えていた。

Context: They are collecting the goblin ears, and they did not split up at all.

Anyway, this chapter should mostly be alright, so

LMAG Chapter 12

Hello there. Izzy here.

Just a heads up, this chapter was pretty confusing, since the vampire dude changed his speech pattern. Before this, he spoke like a noble, but starting from the end of last chapter, he’s more rough. Like ore omae etc. That’s also how Rakku speaks, so I was confused as to who was speaking. It should be understandable now. When I started translating this chapter I had nothing but headaches smh

Oh and Shea has this weird speech quirk. She uses de arimasu, a formal form for desu, way too much. Like you know those characters who just says desu all the time? (Not including weebs) Yeah, imagine this girl going de arimasu all the time. It’s pretty annoying to say the least.

Slime Tensei. Chapter 13

Hello there. Izzy here.

Whew, that was one hell of a chapter. It’s basically an info dump, but it was a good one. It was really good in Japanese, but holy was it hard to translate it. I did my best to translate the emotions portrayed as best as I could, but it probably won’t be. My English isn’t at the level of novelists, after all. If you understand Japanese, then go read it….. though I shouldn’t expect anyone here to be fluent at it. It’s best to read it in its original language. Anyway, hope you enjoy.

By the way, in case you haven’t noticed, this novel already has a first volume published, and the second one is on its way. Links and pictures are in the series’ description page, so go check them out.

Finally, about the schedule for this series. I estimate that a chapter will be out every week or so, since this series’ chapters is longer than the average novel’s chapters, and its language much better than the ones I’ve translated, which also makes it more difficult for me to understand certain parts.

LMAG Chapter 8

Hello there. Izzy here.

So somebody pointed out that it was goblin magician, not goblin sister.

In my defence, it was goblin sister. The author corrected it, though I don’t know when exactly.

Here’s the original raw:

$ホブゴブリンやゴブリンシスターの可能性もある。

Ignore the symbol, that’s for parsing.

Knowing that, I thought of our good friend George. Guess what.

%「俺はジョルジュだ。

See? It wasn’t my fault. I read it correctly after all D:

Anyway,
